I have had a brain injury ever since I was little. When I was a baby, I fell down the basement stairs. I have never known life without a brain injury, and I am so happy I found the society here because they have helped me so much to understand myself and why I think the way I do. I used to be very down all the time, and I did not know why I felt like that. With help from the great staff here I have been able to deal with the issues that come up everyday and I am very grateful to be here. I love to do the art projects and get out to the garden. Sometimes we go swimming and every summer we have a picnic. It is a lot of fun and I love being around everyone here. I have made great friends.
