Pat Gordon
Board Member
Pat began his career as a scientist, first in insect control and then moving to animal science. This love of learning took Pat to the Arctic to study beluga whales. After his research, Pat pivoted to teaching and had a long, successful career as a high school science teacher. His humour, knowledge and quick wit made him a loveable and valued educator in our community.
In retirement, Pat experienced two strokes that notably changed the way his brain works. Being aware of this change and understanding the many impacts of brain injury among community members, Pat recognized an opportunity to continue to give back. Pat joins the Board as an active member of the Brain Injury Society and will work to amplify the voices of Brain Injury Society clients.
