Community & Client Engagement Coordinator
Gretchen joined the Brain Injury Society’s team in May 2025. As Community & Client Engagement Coordinator, Gretchen aims to inform the community about what services and supports we provide to help folks and their families navigate the system with a brain injury. Gretchen also works to build more community around brain injury so that everyone understands the challenges that people with brain injury face and how we can all come together to recognize and support each other. When Gretchen is not at the Brain Injury Centre working behind her laptop, she is working as a member of the Board of Education for qathet School District 47 or working for VIU to help certify Education Assistants and Community Support workers from the Tla’amin Nation. Gretchen has a wonderful family that spends their time biking, hiking and swinging in the hammocks in their backyard.
